So...I've just started Art School (yay) and honestly, in the last three days alone, I have done THIRTY drawings! (I just counted so this is no exaggeration). Here are my two favourite so far, plus a couple more paintings from Cornwall.
Think I'm going to have to take up yoga or something - standing at an easel for six hours a day is pretty hard work.

Creating in Cornwall
I'm down in the South-West for this week. I love it! It reminds me of how simple life seemed when I used to live in Falmouth. My bezzie Sid, and her wonderful boy Mike, are writing a great book for all you creatives out there (http://commercialcreatives.com/) which I'm editing at the moment. Watch this space! Apart from surfing and hanging out on the boat, I've managed a couple of things in the last two days:
Left my camera at home by mistake but it means I've been doing lots more painting than I would have otherwise.
Loved these in Sweden - too expensive for me so I made my own |
Quick-ish painting done of the local bay |

Gin o'clock
I love gin. Some of my favourite times have been with my girlies, enjoying a post surf G&T. Last week saw gin and I being paired in a different context as I was asked to photograph a competition run by Beefeater 24 to find the best bartender in a cocktail-making contest. Here are just a few of my final images.
Great day - and the gin was delicious too!
